While driving back from the Marble Slab Creamery early last week, we noticed the clouds and sun were having a nice game of peek-a-boo, creating rays of light that were just beautiful.
Initially I didn’t want to stop because there were huge powerlines in the way, but as we came up Wharncliffe approaching Commissioners, this scene presented itself.
I’m sure the folks driving by wondered just what the heck I was up to, but we spent about 15 minutes at the side of the road watching the clouds shift and move and the sunbeams appear and disappear.
I’ve done what I can with Lightroom to bring out the detail of the sunbeams without altering the “reality” of the shot. I just wish I could enhance the beams a teeny bit more to give a better feel for what we actually saw.
