Bit of a tough one this week. I don’t like going outside in the winter, and am especially leery of taking my new camera out in the cold. So, shooting around the house led to this shot.
Mind you, there was a brilliant sunrise Saturday morning. Although I did hustle out and find an open area to take pictures from, I was not happy with the results. I was bracketing with the intent of trying some HDR, but the overall results were lackluster. Definitely have to try again.
This is WieGee, a feral rescue. Note the rather droll expression on her face.
I do like the depth of field my 50mm lens is giving the image. WieGee is sharp, but the background is not. Something my old Kodak did not easily do.

WeiGee is beautiful…just ask her. Lovely shot.
Whups, WieGee. Damn fingers.
What a beautiful face. She has secrets.
Secrets, indeed. And she’s not tellin’ anyone. After all, a lady never tells.
I wondered where Aura’s nose colouring got to…
